glaciers are pronounced like this here: 'glossy-er'



Here we have a video from our glacial flash flood experience.
I hope it conveys the excitement of the situation!
The objects in this video are much larger than they appear :)

If you don't already know this, we were hanging out by the river at the base of Fox Glacier when we heard a huge crack and turned to see massive ice falling at the top of the river... a few minutes later, Brian noticed the river shrinking and we realized what was coming - gigantic boulders of ice hopping along toward us!
